On Wednesday Febuary 11th, 2009 Walk the Line's star Joaquin Phoenix made a awkward appereance on the David Letterman show. Phoenix had a full beard, shaggy hair, and some dark sun glasses. He made short answers to Lettermans questions. Phoenix also made an announcment that he has quit acting and is now working on his hip-hop career. The audience kept laughing, but Phoenix was wondering why they were laughing. I can't take him serious. This is either some joke, or Phoenix is on some very strong drugs. His brother died from a drug over dose back in 1993. So this might be a serious matter taking place. Casey Affleck, Joaquin's brother in-law has been following him with a video camera to document his transition from acting to hip-hop.
